Through my work I aim to capture life unstaged. To depict society and the human condition simply as it is, no bells, no whistles. To convey realism; that is, reality void of its imposed artificial make-up and androgenized skin. While the world endeavours to obscure actuality, I seek to offer it raw, brought down from the contrived monument that so many wish to place it upon. As I work to reveal the absoluteness of the world in which we live, I come only to the conclusion that humankind have become skinjobs – the meat by-product of human evolution caught up in their own self conceitedness.
